Making space in F&I
Discrimination and doubt in the workplace nearly cut short Paula Miller's automotive retail career, but she persevered, pushing past the obstacles to achieve her goal of working in a finance and insurance office — though it wasn't always easy.
Miller, who started off selling cars eight years ago, said she encountered the stigma that women don't "necessarily belong" in leadership positions. Now, she's an advocate for other women in automotive dealerships who want to break into F&I, and she's pushing the industry to make space for them.
